Discussion with Dr. Freyberg
I had the honor of talking with an esteemed professor at Stanford. Dr. Freyberg is an Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He spends his time studying reservoir sedimentation and other hydrological related activities. During the call he mentioned to me that he partnered with his students on most of his projects, specifically in one of those projects the student was to collect samples of sediment in the Canada-US border and the Mexico-US border and report the findings to Dr. Freyberg. Another one of the projects that he worked on was with another professor in which they designed centralized and decentralized wastewater collection. They used a software called PRODOT (may be called by other names as well) in order to determine the most effective system in a certain place.
